A pair of offset lithographs after reference photographs for Documents Décoratifs by Alphonse Maria Mucha (1860–1939). These photographs feature women in poses characteristic of Mucha’s Art Nouveau artwork. First published in Paris ca. 1900, Documents Décoratifs was one of Mucha’s most important style books, introducing Art Nouveau to the fields of commercial design, decor, and advertising. These prints are presented unsigned, under white mats and acrylic glass, in black wooden frames, with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- slight edge wear to frames.
