This expressive image depicts a village on a a hill against a blue sky with cumulus clouds, rendered with a dry, textured brush in vibrant red, green, blue, and yellow, with interwoven, linear black marks. The work is signed in black paint to the lower right, ‘Michelson’. This painting is mounted in a decorative wood and gesso frame with a hanging wire affixed to the verso.
