A set of six engravings in a folio titled French Floral Etchings published by the Paris Etching Society. The Paris Etching Society was part of a New York print house run by Sidney Z Lucas in the mid 1900s. The included prints are after Avril l’ainé engravings of original Tessier paintings. Each print depicts a bouquet of flowers, three of which are in vases. Printed in plate are the French titles, descriptions, artists’ names, and printer’s marks.
Condition
- edge wear to folder, slight edge wear to print paper, slight toning to paper, folio is incomplete containing six of eight prints.
