Item Details

A group of vintage wooden washboards. This selection includes three different size boards. Each features a rectangular wooden frame. The largest piece has a corrugated sheet of metal in the center and the remaining two have a corrugated panel of glass to the center. The largest board is marked ‘Atlantic National Washboard,’ the medium board is marked ‘National Washboard Co.,’ and the smallest is marked ‘Two-in-One Jr.’ These pieces date to around the early 20th century.

Condition

- stains and cracks to wood; paint faded; wear throughout consistent with age and use; oxidation to metal of one.
