A Madame Alexander set of Dionne Quintuplet dolls with a framed print taken from a photo featuring the quints. These composition dolls feature brown mohair attached to the same molded curly hair molded doll head as previous versions of the quints but with straight legs implying an older child or toddler.The have delicately painted eyes and lips and poseable arms and legs. All five dolls are dressed in differently colored pastel tinted organdy dresses with matching bonnets, slips and diapers underneath dresses. The dolls are marked ‘Alexander’ to their back. The print is taken from a promotional photo of the quints and features a painted wood frame with glass.
Condition
- wear to the composite including crazing, cracks, chips, staining, and broken fingers to one doll in yellow
- arm from the doll in lavender has fallen off due to interior rubber band breaking
- print shows holes and wear; while the frame is rubbed and missing paint. The cardboard backing is warped.
