An original oil painting on canvas by listed Rissian artist Anatoly Shlapak (1929 – 2014). The image depicts a floral still life arrangement executed with an Impressionistic aesthetic. A vase full of red roses and a basket full of hyacinth blossoms bask in sunlight on a white tabletop in front of white curtains. Artist signature is signed in paint to the lower right. The painting is mounted behind a linen liner in a beveled wood frame with a highly distressed gilt finish, equipped to hang. Additional information about the artist is attached to the verso.
Condition
- light accretion on painting and frame. Liner is notably stained to left upper side and in smaller areas throughout. Finish of frame is chipped and scratched throughout.
