An encaustic on board of an abstracted floral still life by listed artist Donald R. Purdy (born 1924). The piece depicts a curved blue vase with stylized flowers comprised of dripping pigments and spiraling applications against a green background. Signed by the artist to the lower left. Presented without glass, within a wooden frame with gilt accents. A descriptive gallery label is attached to the verso.

- minor wear and gesso loss to frame; slightly detached joints to frame.
