A pair of signed Mexican religious folk art paintings by artist Maricial Chalo Rodriguez. The paintings date to the 1980s. They depict religious themes and scenes, and are painted on rustic board. A rectangular plaque titled San Michael depicts Saint Michael with black hair, wearing a crown, against a purple background. The other plaque has a cut-out cross on the top, and is titled Santo Marcel, depicting a man with black hair, beard and horns, wearing a yellow robe and holding a cross. Both are signed to the backs, and both have holes drilled through the tops for hanging.
