A vintage Carbone Hall ceramic duck casserole dish and a Mottahedeh footed strainer with a matching plate. The duck casserole is a one quart baking dish featuring a lid in the shape of a duck. The duck’s beak is glazed yellow, which matches the outer surface of the dish; the inside and body of the duck are white. The dish is marked ‘Hall’ in mold and stamped ‘Carbone’ to the underside of the dish. The strainer features a carved strawberry motif around the scalloped edges, and is painted red and green on the white glaze. It is stamped ‘A Mottahedeh design’ and ‘Italy’ to the underside of the straining bowl.
