Item Details

A mid-century oil painting on canvas by F. Swatsley. This depicts a white building with a tall church spire, tucked amongst an autumnal wood upon the shore of a waterfall flowing between two lakes, as snow-capped mountains rise in the distance. It is signed in the lower right corner. This work is presented with a linen lined border in an ornate gold tone wooden and gesso frame, wired for hanging.

Condition

- some minor edge wear on frame; dent near the top-center edge of the painting, slightly crushed impasto.
