Romweber "Cobblestone" Viking Oak Dining Table

A Romweber Cobblestone Viking oak dining table. The frame features a rectangular, plank-style top with molded edges and butterfly joints flanked by a pair of draw leaves. It rises on a pair of X-form supports with horsehead carvings joined by a pierced, braided stretcher. The underside is incised ‘45 / 6282 / 5-1005’ and stenciled ‘Cobble Stone’.

The Viking Oak line was influenced by traditional Scandinavian furniture and was produced from the 1930s-1980s.
