A limited edition serigraph print on paper titled Skimmerscape by well-regarded Cincinnati wildlife artist Charley Harper (1922 – 2007). Characteristic of Harper’s graphic geometric abstractions, this piece features five black skimmers in a vertical line flying low enough over the water to dip their lower mandibles in the surf, ready to snap up fish. This print appears to be number 1952 in an edition of 2000, and is signed in pencil to the lower right margin. The work is presented under protective glass, in a silver tone metal frame with hanging wire to the verso. A playful inscription about black skimmers by Harper is also attached to the verso.

Condition

- slight edge wear to frame; slight discoloration to paper in lower margin.
