A 1953 Major League Baseball All-Star Game program. The 1953 Mid-Summer Classic was held on July 14, 1953, at historic Crosley Filed in Cincinnati, Ohio. The National League All-Stars dominated winning 5 to 1 behind the pitching of Robin Roberts and Warren Spahn. Enos Slaughter went 2-3 and Ted Williams returning from military service threw out the first ceremonial ball. This publication has a red, white and blue front cover with an image of Crosley Field and contains fifty pages of black and white player photos, rosters, statistical information, and local advertisements. The program exhibits edge and surface age wear and is housed in a protective plastic holder.
