A hand-blown glass clown figurine. This depicts an elongated Auguste clown, with a black bowler hat, yellow hair, and exaggerated features. He is dressed with a tall standing collar of translucent blue, above a suit of a vibrant mosaic glass encased in clear glass, with dark shoes, button, and cuffs. He holds an instrument or oversized pipe in one hand. No discernible maker’s mark was found, however these are in the Murano style. Please see related glass clown figurines within this sale.
