Royal Bonn "Delft" Letter Holder

A Royal Bonn ‘Delft’ letter holder. This ceramic letter holder is presented in blue and white with a glaze finish and hand painted floral and foliate designs and a central windmill scene to its front. The letter holder includes two compartments and an oval piercing at its top. The underside is marked in blue ‘4086/III/336.42 Royal Bonn Delft’ and stamped incised maker’s mark, which was used by the company between 1870-1920. Royal Bonn was a Germany company which operated between 1836 and 1921.

- minor fading; wear to underside; a few chips and scratches; dust and residue to interior.
