An original oil on canvas painting titled_Ohio Coal Barge_by Leo Murphy (1906-1980). Leo Murphy was born in Springfield, Ohio and studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy, where he eventually returned to teach. He was a WPA artist and became known for the murals he painted in Greenhills and around the Cincinnati, Ohio. He exhibited at the Cincinnati Art Museum and his work is found in many collections, both private and corporate.
