1928 American Character Puggy doll This doll has a hand painted frowning face, small eyes, and molded hair with a curl to the center. He has a solid composite body with jointed shoulder and hips. This doll is displayed wearing a tan belted one piece short outfit with a trench coat overtop, stepping out wearing t-strap shoes with socks and comes with a beige colored doll stand. Puggy was a part of the ‘Campbell Kids’ collection. Marked to dolls back is ‘A Petite Doll’.
Condition
- doll has soiled and rubbed fingertips and toes with crazing and cracks to the composite body consistent with age, display, and play wear.
