A collection of handmade dolls. These pieces are composed of string and cloth as well as other materials and are in the form of townspeople partaking in daily activities. The maker’s marks on the bottom of some of the bases label the Dominican Republic as the nation of manufacture.
Condition
- various pieces falling apart of several dolls (eyes missing, etc.); threads are coming loose; the head comes off of the man carrying wood.
