Item Details
An original ink painting by Cincinnati surrealism artist Evelyn Marx (1901-1996), titled Maternity. This vibrant, and imaginative depiction was created in 1981 and features images of the bond that connects mother with child. Completed in a palette of blue, brown, beige, orange and yellow; hand signed ‘Marx’ to the lower right. Evelyn Marx studied at the University of Cincinnati, her works can be found in many prominent collections, including the Cincinnati Art Museum. Hanging wire and original gallery display and pricing information is to the verso.
