A miniature Navajo Loom. This wooden loom features a half finished Navajo textile in neutral tones, hanging from a piece of unprocessed wood, a comb and shuttle. Also included is a wooden bowl with extra yarn in similar tones.
The loom is attached to a wooden base. The original certificate of authenticity is attached to the top of the loom, showing Vercinda Begay as the artist. The Begay family is renowned for its history of fine artisans, from jewelers to potters to fiber artists.
