An offset lithograph on paper after an original work by South Carolina watercolorist Alice Stewart Grimsley. Titled Sweet Liberty this depicts a blossoming front garden before a columned porch with a flying American flag. The figure of a small black cat can be seen walking down the verdant Charleston path, underneath the arching branches of the trees. This work is signed both within the plate and by hand in the lower left corner. This work is presented double matted in pale purples, under glass in a gold tone wooden frame, wired for hanging.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; minor wear to corners of frame.
