Chippendale Style Mahogany Lowboy by Councill Craftsmen

Item Details

A Chippendale style mahogany lowboy by Councill Craftsmen. This item features one full-length drawer with two brass bail pulls and one escutcheon with pierced batwing backplates over two smaller drawers with similar pulls and one drawer with a pressed shell motif. The drawers are flanked by fluted columns; apron is serpentine with a pressed shell motif. It sits on four cabriole legs with acanthus leaves at the knee and claw-and-ball feet. It is marked to the interior of a drawer.
