A collection of 20th-century woodcut engravings and an original drawing. Featured are four prints by well listed Spanish artist Leopoldo Méndez (1902-1969). This includes a 1935 scene of a vaccination, Building, Sueño de los Pobres (Dream of the Poor), Chatto by Howard McCormick (1875 -1943), and a print of two reclining figures before a temporary tent. These are accompanied by an original drawing titled You Did Not Know That by Robert Elmer Lougheed (1910-1982). These works are presented unframed, with some mounted within white mats.
Condition
- fair; smudges, surface abrasions, toning, and foxing present on most pieces.
