Four Piece Royal Doulton Flow Blue Aubrey Pattern Chamber Set
Item Details
A late 19th/ early 20th-century Royal Doulton four piece pottery chamber set including a wash basin and ewer, a chamber pot, and a brush holder. The set features an Art Nouveau style flow blue pattern, Aubrey, labeled as Rd.No. 399945/Rd.No. 403830. Depicted in the pattern scene is two adolescent girls in a soft patch of grass beneath a tree. The rim of the pieces feature an elaborate nouveau style pattern with stylized medallions. All pieces are marked to the bottom with a blue Royal Doulton mark.
Condition
- some minor chips present in all pieces; crazing present in all pieces throughout; wear to the inside of the wash basin from the pitcher base; loss of glaze around the bottom edge of the pitcher; several chips to the underside of the basin.
