1950s-Era Bendix Aviation Drift Meters

Item Details

A pair of vintage aircraft drift meters, produced by the Bendix Aviation Corporation circa the 1950s. This optical instrument, used to calculate ground speed, is designed to be mounted vertically with the telescope extending through the bottom of an aircraft and the eyepiece and controls accessible within. This collection includes a drift meter Type B-3 with the serial number AF-42-3685 and a gyro-stabilized drift meter with the AN number 5763-40 and serial number AF-45-444.
