A hand colored engraving on paper by Francesco Bartolozzi (Italian, 1728 – 1815) of an original painting by Angelica Kauffman (Swiss, 1741-1807) titled The Judgment of Paris. This colorful print depicts a scene from Greek mythology of the goddesses being judged who is the fairest. The names of the artists and the title of the piece are present in typeset below the main image. The print is mounted under glass in a gold tone wood frame with a wire present to verso for hanging purposes.

Condition

- to fair; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; staining to the lower left and upper left; minor foxing to the right; chips to frame.
