A Victorian hair work brooch. Such jewelry was sometimes created of a deceased loved one’s hair, and at other times as sentimental jewelry incorporating the hair of a fiancée or other living beloved. This piece is intricately designed in a concentric ribbon pattern with tassels and has a safety pin style clasp to reverse.

- some fraying in spots.
