Antique Oak Washstand

Item Details

An antique oak washstand. This piece has a serpentine front and backboard with carved acanthus leaf accents. It features a long drawer over two stacked short drawers and a cabinet with a blind-paneled door. The drawers are hand-dovetailed and equipped with bronze tone foliate pulls; the door has an openwork knob pull. The piece has a subtly serpentine apron with carved acanthus leaves to the center and is supported by gently curved legs.
