Item Details
A still life oil painting on canvas by W. Adams. The piece depicts a basket of fruit next to a ceramic pitcher, utilizing muted hues of red, yellow, green, white, grey and brown. The work is signed ‘W. Adams’ in red paint to the lower right. The painting is presented without glass in a black and gold tone wooden frame fitted with a sawtooth hanger to the verso.
Condition
- colors are somewhat faded; flaking to painted surface, especially near signature; light scratching to frame finish; frame joints are slightly loose; foxing to canvas verso; frame does not have paper backing.
