An oil painting titled Munchen, attributed to artist Marianne Lemke (b. 1920). Portrayed with thick textural impasto and loose painterly brushstrokes, this impressionistic work features a forest landscape at the end of a sloping hill and a mountainous background. A faint path is visible on the ground, leading the viewer to an open space beyond the forest trees. The painting is signed ‘Marian’ and titled to the lower right. A label with a short bio of the artist Marianne Lemke is present to the verso. The work remains unframed.
