A limited edition etching with aquatint of a mountainous landscape by listed artist Lee Sturges (1865 – 1954). This print on paper depicts a rolling hillside populated with clusters of pine trees stretching to the distance. The composition is rendered with a controlled layering of linear marks. To the lower margins is a handwritten artist signature and print edition (19/50). The print is presented under glass beneath a single-layered mat in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- to fair; foxing and toning throughout matting; toning around edges of print; backing paper has been torn off; backing board is discolored and stained.
