A collection of three Foxfire book guides on nature and plain living. This includes three books that were originally published in Foxfire magazine, and the author Eliot Wigginton desired to “extend the Foxfire concept of education and oral history to other communities” by editing and compiling into this book set, as quoted inside the front cover of Foxfire 2. The first book is titled The Foxfire Book, (Anchor Press & Brooks Eliot Wigginton, 1972), Foxfire 2, ( (Anchor Press & Brooks Eliot Wigginton, 1973), and Foxfire 3, (Anchor Press, 1975). The three books are housed in a cardboard slipcase.
