Hardman-Peck Harrington Baby Grand Piano
Item Details
A Harrington baby grand piano manufactured by Hardman, Peck and Company of New York. It has a walnut veneer finish on hardwoods, cabriole legs with scroll hips, and pad feet. The bench features a rose pattern needlepoint cushion attached to the lid with brass tacks, lift lid, simple aprons, and cabriole legs with whorl feet. Several music books for pianos are included (please see photos). The serial number is 158857 which indicates it is from the 1980s. Hardman, Peck and Company built superior quality pianos. The Company was incorporated under Hardman, Peck and Company in 1905, established in New York in 1842, and built pianos until the 1930s when they were taken over by Aeolian who continued to manufacture pianos under the Hardman, Peck and Company name until the 1980s.
