Large landscape of trees and stream, done by the artist Phillip Cantrell (American, B. 1922). Cantrell was born in Port Austin, Michigan in 1922. He lived in Paris from the age of 19 to 23, during which time he cultivated his talent for landscape paintings. He returned to Port Austin in 1950 where he mainly painted the local scenery.
