A limited edition offset lithograph by Bill Purdom (1953 – 2016) depicting Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle. This work depicts an afternoon game at Yankee Stadium with teammates Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris at the center. The print is signed by the artist in pencil at the lower right corner, and numbered 287/799. This print is presented in a cherry tone wood frame, un-matted, and with a wire to the verso for hanging. Purdom is known for his depictions of historic baseball moments, and his work is included in the permanent collection of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
