Chuck Yeager Model Bell Aircraft and Limited Edition Print

A model jet and lithograph print to commemorate Chuck Yeager and his accomplishment of the first flight to be faster than the speed of sound. The desktop display model is a Bell Aircraft 6062 X-1 on a 1/32 scale. It is painted with the words, Glamorous Glennis’ to the side. The print is titled, ‘Hey Pard, You’ll Get A Free Steak At Pancho’s Tonight!’ and depicts the first flight faster than the speed of sound on approach to Rogers Dry Lake, Muroc, CA, on October 14th, 1947. The print is signed by 1st Lt. R.A. ‘Bob’ Hoover, USAF; Capt. Charles E. ‘Chuck’ Yeager, USAF, and artist Mike Machat. It is also marked, ‘A fine art reproduction limited to 1947 prints.’
