An oil painting on canvas by Edwin Charles Arnold (American, 1875-1943) titled Off the Golden Gate. This painting offers a depiction of twelve meter yachts mid-race off the Golden Gate. It is framed in an ornate gold tone frame.

Born in Reno, Nevada, Arnold moved to California as a small child. After studying painting at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute he moved to San Diego where he worked as a sign painter. He is known for his paintings of sailing vessels.
