Antique Lincoln Style Rocking Chair

Item Details

An antique Lincoln style rocking chair. This chair features a crenelated crest over a banister of turned and set spindles, above a cushion back with curved stiles leading to an upholstered seat and including scrolled gooseneck style arms. The chair rests on turned ring and stick spindle legs ending in bent slat rocker feet. There are stretchers and reinforcement rods attached for additional support. The original cane seat has been removed and a new seat has been married to the piece.
