An oil painting on canvas impressionistic style portrait of mother and daughter by E. Bonington. The piece depicts a mother seated next to a settee upon which her daughter sits opposite of her. The rich colors in the scene and 19th-century furniture give the piece its impressionistic feel. Signed in the lower right as ‘E. Bonington.’ The painting is presented upon stretchers without glass, unframed.

- minor paint loss on the very edges of the canvas.
