Antique Rosenthal "Pompadour" Coffee Dresden C.1891-1906
Item Details
A German coffee pot produced by Rosenthal. The firm operated from a Dresden location between 1891-1906 when the coffee pot was made. This piece in the Pompadour pattern features profuse gilding on the handle and spout, a green ground, and sprays of Deutch Blumen. The pattern name and style is a nod the Versailles factory which later became Sevres. There are printed factory marks on the underside together with pattern name and ‘Dresden’.
