Early Rookwood Pottery Teapot Decorated by Van Briggle
Item Details
An early Rookwood Pottery teapot, beautifully decorated by notable decorator Van Briggle. Decorated in an autumnal coloration with foliage and light green interior glaze. To underside, reverse RP logo with date 1889, incised decorators signature and ‘L’ mark; indicating lightly colored standard glaze was used on the pitcher.
