A watercolor painting of a rural European landscape. It depicts a stone farmhouse on the side of a hill and two farm workers with mountains in the background. It is signed ‘Millet’ to the lower right and mounted under glass with cream and brown double mats in a dark stained wood frame. The mats are cut with rounded corners to match the corners of the frame. The frame is fitted with an eye screw for hanging.

Condition

- to fair; heavy wear to the finish of the frame, small chips along the inner edge and hairline cracks at the corners; small tear in the paper to the middle left.
