Empire Style Console Table

Item Details

An Empire style console table. This piece has a burl finish, with black accents. The rectangular top features contoured notches on each side, with a full apron with Greek key detail. At each corner is a gilt shell applique above gilt lion head embellishments. The piece rises on four tapered square legs ending in gilt paw feet on block bases. The back panel is mirrored above a bottom shelf. The piece is marked ‘Made in Spain/1893/Mariner’.
