An original signed artist’s proof deep etching with aquatint accents and a la poupée coloring on wove paper by 20th century Cincinnati-based artist and educator Kevin Booher, titled Summer is Over. The print depicts a simple, clumsy illustration of a highly-abstracted form that appears to represent a female figure. The figure stands against a nondescript background; the piece is printed in a subtle blue-gray with a swatch of vivid red ink to the lower left. The print is signed, titled, and labeled an artist’s proof in graphite to the lower margin. It is matted in very pale gray and presented behind glass in a modern blonde wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
