An M.J. Hummel by Goebel two piece retired figurine. The display is titled Easter Morning and the figurine is titled Favorite Pet. The base features an outdoor scene of a tree and a variety of calla lilies, spring flowers, and easter eggs. The base has a space to hold the Favorite Pet figurine. The figurine is of a little girl kneeling, feeding flowers to a lamb with one hand with a picnic basket on the other arm. the base comes with a tag that reads ‘M.I. Hummel Goebel 2001 Retirement Exclusive’. The underside of the base has a label affixed that reads ‘Easter Morning Mark #1058-D Goebel 2000’ and impressed on the back ‘Limited Edition Easter Morning Goebel 9000 Pieces’. The figurine is marked on the underside ‘2001 Retirement Exclusive Goebel Germany’. The set comes with a certificate of authenticity and is numbered 2129 of 9,000. Each comes in the original boxes.
