A vintage school desk and chair by Kenney Bros. & Wolkins. The oak, red-painted chair features a curved crest above a spindle back and a contoured, plank seat. It swivels on a black, cast iron pedestal. The base is embossed ‘R / No 2’. The oak, red-painted desk has a slanted, rectangular top with a pencil groove and an inkwell hole over an open shelf. It rises on a black, cast iron base. The base is embossed ‘No 5’ and ‘Kenney Bros. & Wolkins Boston Mass.’
