An antique miniature Asbestos Sad Iron, possibly a salesmen sample or child’s play toy. The iron has a wooden handle with a removable cast iron base. The wood handle is painted black marked ‘Asbestos Sad Iron’ and also ‘Pat. May 22 1900’.
