An offset lithograph after Raphael’s Madonna of the Chair. This print on paper depicts a classical rendering of Mary clutching hold of baby Jesus while John the Baptist watches from the side. The circular print is presented under glass beneath single-layered matting in a copper toned metal frame with linked chain seen to the verso for hanging. Also seen to the verso is an affixed informational tag published by The Medici Society.
Condition
- chain kept bubble wrapped; tape stuck between glass and frame; glass is loose; backing is stained.
