Item Details
A 1940 World Series souvenir baseball ticket stub. This artifact consists of the rain check and ticket portion which has been separated. The ticket is from Game 2 which was held at Crosley Field. Made of thin cardboard, this ticket reads ‘World Championship Games National League vs. American league.’ A replica signature of Powell Crosley Jr. is printed on the rain check portion of the ticket. This ticket, enclosed in a protective top loader, is from the ‘Upper Grand Stand’ and is in good condition with bold coloring.
