Acoma Pueblo Clay Pot

An Acoma Pueblo clay pot. This spherical pot features an ochre surface that is painted with Native American style patterning in black. Also included are two stylized, moulded lizards that are detailed with black pigment and are affixed in an asymmetrical arrangement near the circular opening. To the underside is a painted inscription reading ‘Acoma, E.V.’.
